Hello to all,

Welcome to Victoria Web Design's website. First of all, let me tell you a little history about how Victoria Web Design got started. In early 1998 I decided it was time to start my own small business, while continuing to work shift work at a local chemical plant as a process operator.

I came up with an idea for a really unique business model that involved doing preventive maintenance on houses. Well, one of the first things I needed for my newly formed business was a website. I'm a hands on kind of guy, so I decided I would attempt the website construction myself. After my website was completed, one of my co-workers, asked me to build his small business company's website also. I was hesitant at first because I really wanted to stay focused on my original business goals. Before I had finished the second website another co-worker approached me about doing his company's website also.

I have always been a firm believer that if God leads you down a certain path; follow Him. As the old saying goes, If God gives you lemons, make lemonade. Web Design just felt like the direction I needed to go. I have slowly continued over the years to grow Victoria Web Design into a full-time profession. I have well over 150 websites under my belt now.

From the beginning, I have focused on building bright, flashy, straight forward style websites.

Over the first couple years in business, I heard story after story of web designers who would build a website for a client, and then left the client out in the cold when their website needed updating with new information. From these complaints, I came up with the concept of offering a flat all-inclusive yearly service agreement that covers everything related to managing a website. This concept allows you, as a small business owner, to focus on growing your business while we focus on maintaining and updating your website.
